Yes, there is age relaxation for reserved category candidates in NDA which is as under:
- There is a relaxation of 5 years in the age limit for SC and ST candidates.
Means that the Min age limit: 16.5 years & Max age limit: 24.5 years.
- There is an age relaxation of 3 years for OBC candidates. This means that the age of the candidate to apply for NDA can be a minimum of 16.5 years for OBC and a maximum of 22.5 years.
Educational Qualification required to apply for NDA
These are the educational qualifications for NDA exam:
- For the Army Wing of the National Defense Academy, candidates must have completed 10+2 from a recognized board or university.
- For the Air Force and Naval Wing of the National Defense Academy, candidates must have completed their 12th standard with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects from a recognized Board or University.
- Candidates who are appearing in their 10+2 examination can also apply for NDA. But for this, they have to fulfill all other eligibility criteria.
