Limited Departmental Competetive Exam:

Apart from aspirants across the country, the currently serving employees can also apply for the post of Assistant Commandant in SSB through the LDC exam. The exam is conducted for internal recruitment in the organization.

CAPF released the notification for the LDC exam in the year 2017, but the exam is scheduled for the year 2019-20.

The eligibility criteria for the exam are as follows:

  1. The candidate must not be more than 35 years of age. Age relaxation of 5 years is applicable for SC/ST candidates.
  2. The candidate must be a graduate of any Government recognized University.
  3. Only three attempts per candidate are allowed.
  4. The candidate must have served the organization for a minimum of 4 years.
  5. The physical and medical standards are the same as the direct recruitment procedure.

SSB Eligibility Criteria
