NDA 2023 Exam Dates: NDA I 2023 Application Form will be issued on 21st December 2022. It’s a national-level entrance exam, which is conducted every year. With the help of this entrance exam, qualified candidates are selected for training in Indian Navy, Indian Military, and Air Force. NDA Exam is conducted by UPSC every year. NDA 2023 Application Form

The Applications form for NDA 2023 will be filled out on 21 December 2022 for the first session. Candidates can apply for NDA through online official website i.e. www.upsc.gov.in. The registration of NDA will be in two parts – NDA 2023 Application Part 1 and NDA 2023 Application Part 2.
In NDA 2023 Application Part 1 registration, candidates have to fill in their basic and other details. On the other hand for NDA 2023 Application Part 2 registration, candidates have to upload their photograph and signature, choose the exam center and pay the application fee…etc. Candidates must check the application form completely before submission as no correction will be allowed later.
NDA 2023 Application fee
The application fee is Rs.100/- for all category candidates. Candidates can submit their application fee online through Debit Card / Credit Card / Online Banking / SBI Challan.
NDA 2023 Eligibility
Before filling out the NDA application, candidates must check their eligibility in the given below section:-
- Nationality: The student must be a citizen of India or a refugee of Bhutan/ Nepal/ Tibet.
- Other than this: Tibetan refugees who came to India before January 1, 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India are also eligible to apply. Persons of Indian origin who have migrated from Sri Lanka, Burma, Pakistan, and the East African countries of Kenya, the United Republic of Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Zaire, Malawi, and Ethiopia, or Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India are also eligible to apply.
- Foreign Nationals: (except Gorkhas) will have to produce an eligibility certificate issued by the Government of India.
- Marital Status: Only Unmarried Males/Females can apply for this exam.
- Age Limit for NDA 1: All the Candidates who are born after 2nd July 2004 and before 1st July 2007 can apply for NDA (1).
- Age Limit for NDA 2: Those born after January 2, 2005, and before January 1, 2008, can apply for NDA (2).
NDA 2023 Educational Qualification
- For National Defense Academy Army Wing – candidates who have passed the 12th standard or currently appearing in the 12th standard can fill out the application form.
- For Air Force and Navy – The minimum educational qualification should be a 12th pass with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (compulsory subjects).
- Physical Standard: Candidates should be physically and mentally fit for admission to National Defense Academy and Naval Academy.
NDA 2023 Exam Pattern
The exam pattern of the UPSC NDA Exam 2023 can check below:
- Exam Mode: NDA 2023 Exam is conducted twice a year in offline mode (pen and paper).
- Subject: The examination will be conducted in two papers. The first paper will be on Mathematics and the second paper will be on General Ability Tests.
- Type of questions: The question paper will consist of objective-type questions only.
- Exam Duration: The duration of each paper will be of 2 hours and 30 minutes. That means a total of 5 hours will be given to complete the paper.
- Language: The question paper will be set bilingually in English and Hindi.
- Negative Marking: 33% of the marks assigned to the question will be deducted for each wrong answer.

NDA 2023 Syllabus
NDA 2023 Syllabus is divided into two sections – Mathematics and General Aptitude Tests. The General Ability Test section is also divided into two parts – English and General Knowledge. The question paper on Mathematics will be of 12th standard.
Questions in Mathematics – Trigonometry, Algebra, Differential Calculus, Vector Algebra, Integral Calculus, etc.
Questions in English – Grammar, Vocabulary, Comprehension, Usage, Cohesion, etc. will be asked to test the candidate’s proficiency in a detailed text.
Question paper in General Knowledge – will cover a number of topics such as Physics, Chemistry, Social Studies, General Science, Geography, Current Events, etc.

NDA 2023 Result
NDA II 2023 Exam Result will be available to see from September 2023. Candidates can see the results of the examination (NDA Result 2023) online on the UPSC website. Candidates must visit the online website and enter their login details to check their NDA Result 2023. Candidates can check the result in PDF format. candidates who will successfully qualify in the exam will be able to participate in SSB Interview.
NDA 2023 Cut off
After qualifying for the NDA Exam 2023, candidates will be selected for the SSB interview. Only those candidates who qualify for the NDA cut-off will be eligible for the SSB interview. Different cut off will be decided for different categories of candidates. The cut-off for the written test will be 342. The final cut-off after the SSB interview round will be 708.
NDA 2023 SSB Interview
NDA SSB Interview round will be conducted after the NDA II 2023 Exam Result. The candidates who will qualify for the NDA II Exam Result 2023 will be able to participate in the interview round. SSB Interviews round will be conducted in different rounds. This interview will be held for five days. It is mandatory for the candidates to qualify for all five rounds.
