Drilling Safety Certification
75 Questions – This exam follows the text of the NDA Drilling Safety Guide. The NDA Drilling Safety Guide will be provided to the candidate in both PDF and hard copy upon registration for the exam.
The candidate must score 80% or higher on the exam in order to receive the certification.

46 Questions – This exam includes geology questions related to groundwater parameters. This exam uses the NDA Driller’s Manual as a reference. The NDA Driller’s Manual will be provided to the candidate in both PDF and hard copy upon registration for the exam.

*Colorado Licensees – Only 4 hours of credit per year will be accepted for online continuing education.
**Georgia Licensees – Only 2 hours of credit per year will be accepted for online continuing education. The remaining continuing education hours (2 hours) must be from attendance at in-person classes.
***Indiana Licensees – You will receive credit from the state of Indiana for a grade of 70% or higher on the NDA on-line courses. Submit the e-mail you receive following completion of your exam to your Indiana licensing authority. This e-mail will show your grade so that you can receive your CEU’s. However, you will not be certified by the NDA unless you have a grade of 80% or higher.
